...We have been dealing with sickness. As you can guess there has been several sleepless nights and lots of cuddling with mommy and daddy. Our little Adeline came down with it first and then decided to share it with her sister. Sofia bounced back faster than Addie, but both girls are now on the mend and our house is full of their energy again.
...Sofia is now pursuing her dream of becoming a ballerina. She has started taking dance lessons. She isn't just doing ballet though. She is doing a combination class of ballet, tap, tumbling, and jazz. As of right now though she still only wants to do ballet, but we have to wait a few more years. The studio she is at only has the combination class and tumbling for her age until age 5. Then she can choose what class she wants to take. She looks so cute in her leotard and skirt.
...We have loved exploring all the critters that live in our garden and yard. We have Hungry (Sofia named it)...
and we have Hoppy (also of course named by Sofia).
The caterpillar was found at my in-laws and we brought it home to watch it in our garden. We no longer can find the caterpillar, but it hung around for several days. The toad lives under a downspout, but also can be found in the bushes. It is doing a great job of keeping our bug population down. At least once a week we go out to say hi to it.
...Addie is always busy and is now standing without holding on to anything. She is really steady and she thinks about taking a step, but she is still cautious. I give her several more weeks and she will be toddling all over the place.
I think that about sums it up.
