St. Louis 2011

Once a year with Brian's family we go to St. Louis for a baseball game and take in some of the sites as well.  This year we saw...

...The Magic House

What a wonderful place!  Sofia had so much fun there and we could have spent the whole day playing.  We didn't even get to see it all before it was time to go.

I think one of Sofia's favorites was the waterworks.  She had fun filling the watering can and buckets full of water and then dumping them out.  I'm glad they had little waterproof aprons or Sofia would have been soaked.

Sofia also enjoyed playing with the large lego blocks.  This little girl of ours loves to build.  We have several different types of blocks here at home and they each get played with several times a day.  When she was told that we needed to move on she got a little upset.  She wanted to keep building a house.

We went to a station where they had a table set up with a little chalk board on the table.  It is supposed to be used to write down the Morse Code, but Sofia climbed right up on the chair and started to draw.  There weren't any other people in the room so we let her.  She drew a rectangle.  She has been able to draw a circle for a long time now, but a square and rectangle are new.

...Cardinal baseball game

I really didn't take too many pictures at the game.  I did get a pretty good family picture of us though.

...The arch

It was such a beautiful day on Saturday, so we walked over to the arch after lunch.

Thanks Thomsons for a good trip!
