Craft :: Rudolph Ornament

Christmas brings about so many different fun crafts.  I decided we needed to make an ornament to keep and cherish for many years to come.  We made Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer ornaments!

Step 1 - Make a hand print of each hand using brown finger paint.  The hand prints will be the antlers.

Step 2 - While the hand prints are drying glue together three craft sticks into a triangle and put on a red nose.  The nose can be construction paper, red pom pom,  foam or paint.  We used foam.

Step 3 -When the hand prints are dry cut them out and glue onto the top of the triangle.

Step 4 - Glue on eyes.  I would have used wiggley eyes, but we didn't have any.  We used black and white foam.

Step 5 - Glue string, yarn, or ribbon in a loop onto the top of your reindeer.  This is going to be your hanger so it can be hung on a Christmas tree.

I think it turned out adorable.  Sofia did such a good job with her hand prints and of course she had lots of help from me doing the rest.  Now we have a hand print ornament that we can keep forever.
