Our Children's Minister at our church set up a trip to the Peoria Zoo. We had so much fun seeing all the animals that God created and spending time with friends.
We had never been to the Peoria Zoo before. It is the perfect size zoo for young kids. It has just enough animals to keep their interest and not so many that they get bored with it.
We were pretty impressed with their Africa exhibit. We got to walk up a ramp and onto a bridge that overlooked the giraffes. Sofia ran to see the giraffes! It was the one animal she really wanted to see.
There was a really nice playground there too that all the kids could not wait to play on. I didn't get to take any pictures of Sofia playing because I got this...
