Every once in awhile I like to switch things up a bit for outside play. Sometimes we play in the sprinkler, play with chalk, or paint, and sometimes I just put out little tubs filled with water and let the kids play with that. That is what we did last Friday. I give them some bath toys and things found around the kitchen. They have so much fun with it. There is lots of giggles as they dump out water from the measuring cup or drop a tennis ball right into the water. It is always seems to be the small and inexpensive things that make a toddler happy. I have so much fun watching them play.
