Hunter

The craziest thing happened last night after we went to bed. Brian and I were both just about asleep when we heard cats fighting! Our cats wrestle and play, but they don't fight. And Noel (our female cat) had been sleeping between us. That left just Hunter downstairs by himself. Brian went downstairs to check it out. There was another cat in our house! It came in through our front living room window. This cat knows we have cats and we have seen it several times on our front porch.

What happened was is this other cat was probably on the porch and Hunter was laying in the window. The screen popped out and in came the other cat. And thus a fight. Hunter has never been in a fight before so I was worried for him. Brian said he was a little shaken up, but not hurt. The other cat must have gotten the bad end of the deal because there were toughs of the other cats hair all over the living room. I guess Hunter showed him not to come onto his territory. I am thankful Hunter was not hurt.

Brian told Hunter this is why he can't go outside and Brian thinks Hunter shook his head in agreement. We just have too many stray cats in this neighborhood and the city of course won't do anything about it. We would have to capture them, take them to the shelter, and then they would probably be put to sleep because they are too wild. Not a good situation no matter how you look at it.
