Titan

What's this you may ask. It is a titan. This plant is huge! It may bloom or it may just leaf. If they bloom they aren't in bloom very long. It bloomed on Sunday and by Monday it was already starting to close up. Brian and I went on Tuesday to see it (we were hoping to take the boys I watch, but it didn't work out). This is what it looked like on Tuesday around 6:00 p.m. The plant is at Western University and we did get to talk to a botany professor that was there taking pollen from the plant (that is why there is a whole cut out). He has one more plant coming up and he said in a month or so he should know if it is going to flower or be a leaf. You can see the flower in bloom on their blog www.wiubotanygreenhouse.blogspot.com
