Our Little Day Trip

Yesterday we decided that we would take a day trip today to Mississippi Palisades State Park. Brian's brother is on vacation this week so we invited him to come along.

The sun was supposed to come out, but of course it did not come out until we left late this afternoon and it was chilly. We had fun though despite the cool weather and lack of sunshine.

We were out on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. We did lots of hiking.

This tree was down right in the path. It made for good pictures.

We saw a deer! We got pretty close to it. I was hoping there would be more, but no.

Nap time. Sofia is such a good little trooper. She slept like this for a good half hour or so.
