Eyes to see the hungry, hurt, lonely, and broken. On Sunday we were reminded that we need to look through the eyes of Jesus and to see people the way He saw them. Lincoln Christian Church, through the Harvest of Talents, raised $82,729.83 in one day for world hunger. Praise the Lord for all those who gave their talents of wood working, cross stitching, sewing, quilting, painting, baking, photography, crocheting, helping, serving, and buying. My felt play food was a hit and gone when we got there at 7:10. The doors opened at 7:00 and I think next year I will make a lot more.
Please keep the Gowin family in your prayers as they are planning on adopting two little ones from Ethiopia in the next several months. Pray that the adoption goes smoothly and they are able to raise the money needed to expand their family.
